New Tourism Campaign Launches

Visit Colchester have launched a new tourism campaign to promote the Borough. If Our Walls Could Talk shines a spotlight on Colchester's rich heritage and culture. Using the building blocks of the town, it's walls, Colchester's history will be highlighted and shared.

Head to Never-Never Land this August...

This summer the Mercury Theatre are staging a production of the childhood classic Peter Pan.
Join Peter and soar over the streets of London, escape to Never-Never land and join in all the adventure with the Darlings, Peter, Wendy and Tinkerbell. Running from 28 July - 26 August it's one not to miss!

Mersea Regatta & Round The Island Race

This year's famous Mersea Round the Island race will take place on Wednesday 23 Augustfollowed by the Mersea Town Regatta on Saturday 26 August.
The Island Race was first run in 1970 and each year hundreds of competitors and spectatorsenjoy the unique race which circumnavigates Mersea Island. This year spectators can watch the race on the big screen at the West Mersea Yacht Club. Good luck to all those taking part!
